The Ministry of Education announced that it will terminate cooperation with universities such as the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, and Canada. Why ? New measure for Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools clarify the imprecise rules that have led to certain abuses in the quality of cultural and scientific exchanges between countries.
The most common form of cooperation is “2+2” (two years of studying in China and two years of studying abroad). In this way, many Chinese students have deeply experienced the fun of living and studying abroad, and even changed their views on understanding the world. However, due to the increasing number of Chinese-foreign joint ventures and projects in recent years, more and more problems have arisen: blindly carry out cooperation in running schools ; limited self-management ability; low level of running schools ; ignoring foreign qualifications ; large-scale growth model encounters bottlenecks.
The Chinese Ministry of Education has strengthened, for the best, the regulatory measures adopted for Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools. Leuven, in Belgium, is very lucky in this procee, among schools from France, Germany and, also, in United Kingdom.
Three essential rules will make it possible to make the forms of cooperation between Chinese universities or schools with those abroad more serious.
First, a registration and certification system for issuing overseas academic degree certificates for foreign cooperation in running schools. Two, a system for annual reporting and regular evaluation and verification of information on Chinese and foreign cooperatively running schools and projects at or above undergraduate level. Three, the idea of establishing an exit mechanism to achieve from entry to exit from the full-chain closed-loop supervision system, the supervision work can achieve practical results.
